The range from home shopping company Schecker GmbH is built around pet dogs. In preparation for its introduction to the Dutch market, Schecker GmbH consulted with tekstwerkcom for the localisation of their web shop and its content. The cost of opening an outlet in the Netherlands instantly could have been prohibitive, while sourcing a call centre for customer support was difficult.

The solution tekstwerkcom offered

tekstwerkcom offered to help out in the start-up phase for as long as it would remain small-scale. Because of the localisation of the content, an understanding of the range was immediate which meant it could be utilised for contact with customers. After almost eight years now, tekstwerkcom still provides this service in addition to translations, and as the volume has increased, the department concerned has been able to keep pace with it.
